Eight Resources for Battling Our Implicit Biases

Socio-Cultural Competence and Antiracism

The third goal of Dual Language is Socio-Cultural Competence.  To reach this goal, we need to not only recognize that we have implicit biases; we need to work on both dismantling them and on becoming antiracists — people who actively oppose racism.  Most importantly, we  need to help our students embrace an antiracist stance.  Here are just a few of the many resources that can help us achieve this goal.
